As an orthodontist, I have the unique opportunity to effect the way people smile. I believe a smile is one of the greatest things you can share with the world, and I cherish the privilege to help create a beautiful smile for my patients.
Working with so many unique people everyday reminds me to be grateful, to be patient, and to be kind. Every patient I treat has a unique story and I appreciate the opportunity just to learn a bit about that story. I hope I can make a difference in my patients’ lives by bringing a spark of positivity into their day while helping them reach their smile goals.
My Education and Experience
I knew from a young age I wanted to be an orthodontist. My own experience with braces was not only fun, but also so life changing that I knew I wanted to be able to share that feeling with others.
I attended the University of Florida for my Bachelor of Science in Biology and the University of Pennsylvania for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I earned my Certificate of Training in Orthodontics and Masters of Science in Oral Biology from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, I became a member of the Vanguard Society to help support the continuous research that is constantly improving the profession of orthodontics.
This past year, I completed all of the clinical requirements to become a board-certified orthodontist. I wanted to challenge myself to think more critically about my treatment plans and provide patients with more comprehensive and detailed care.

Outside the Office
I am originally from Clearwater, Florida, and have lived in Philadelphia since 2012 when I began dental school. I live with my husband Ari, who is also a dentist. He is currently in residency to become an oral maxillofacial surgeon at the University of Pennsylvania. We have a five-year-old Italian Greyhound named Tano who we love to take on walks around the city. When I’m not working, I love to do yoga classes, try new recipes, and travel with Ari, especially to Florida to visit my family.
